Most 250-350 grain bullets are still supersonic to 200 yards. 2 MOA groups are very achievable. If you want a ballistic tip go with the hornady ftx bullet specifically designed for tubular magazines. As for BC…..for a 200 yard gun….BC doesn’t matter. |

With the same velocity the .125 goes transonic well before 200yds. It needs to be at 2200fps to maintain supersonic past 200yds. The .250 stays supersonic until just past 300yds with a muzzle velocity of 1800fps.
