This. I wish more people would listen to what Matt has to say instead of immediately exclaiming “He’s using social media just to push his anti hunting social media agenda. What a hypocrite!” Well how else would one try to get their opinion out there?
Or my favorite one, “he’s just jealous of Steve’s success!” Well he was on a few early episodes of Sellout Steve’s show and I have to believe that if he’d wanted to become a regular of the meateater crew he could have.

You can apply to other "easier" to draw tags and have a chance at a 400" bull here in WA... Maybe not as many as the Colockum may hold... But it is a possibility...

Now somebody is looking for your bull, and someone besides you already knows about it.
Probably harvested by the time the last guy looks for it....

Secrets don't stay secrets that way.
It was gonna happen sooner or later ,so no point in being discreet .

LOL   I had my chance when I had an any bull tag on a bull that was over 400"... Not in the Colockum... I didn't feel comfortable with the 230 yard shot, the angle of the bull, with the fiber optic sights with the muzzy... Wind eventually changed and he was never seen again... That guy is long gone... I posted a story about it describing the gmu as well... But that was almost 20 years ago... There's still some big bulls there if you're willing to look and maybe get lucky... But it's not near as easy as hunting the Colockum...
