Anyone going to be hunting the Winthrup/Twisp area for the ml opener for deer.

I plan on being in the area for ml opener. First year ml for deer in WA. Have been lucky to draw elk cow tags the past two years and managed to fill the tags. Thought I would try deer this year with the ml and do the late archery for elk

My husband and I were there. It was my first year. Had a good time. Lots of Doe's. Only saw two bucks...one was legal. It took off to quickly before we could get a shot (we were on the road driving, had to get out of the truck & step off the road to make the shot). Last year was my husbands first year, he saw nothing. I think we finally found where to go.  :o Just learning where it is private and public land is the difficult part. How did you do?
