I sure Im sick and tired about all the indian bashing around here, bunch of mealy mouthed punkass bitches, you got a problem with an indian take it up with that indian, dont walk away and then bad mouth them as a race on the freakin net, ya bitch. Im part indian and belong to the Wyandot nation, I was raised in Port Angeles and not as an Indian, but white, thinking just like everyone else, blaming local indians for everything that I felt impacted my rights and opportunitys. Well eventualy I had to grow up and see the whole picture, some times it is indians and some times it isnt. Ive seen alot of waste and greed come from white hunters and fishermen but that dont make white folks the real problem does it. Ive seen both side of this debate come together right here on this site and try to find resolution and common ground, Whites and Indians, and it seems they are still working on solutions to these issues. Some of you say the past dosnt matter anymore, lets forget the treatys, well thats about as stupied of a statement as I ever heard, would you think that America should forget its History,or honor bound commitments, ever? *censored*! Your forefathers wrote those treatys you dislike so much, not the Indians. Should those treatys be modified to account for changing times? Maybe, but they wont be changed by a few moronic whining punkass bitches making racial slurs on the internet. They will be made by MEN, both white and Indian, who care about OUR heritage as hunters, fishermen and outdoorsmen.

Holy cow!  Well put Deaddog.  I think that was pretty plain and simple to understand.  Comments seem to be wrapped around jealousy.  I have lived on the Rez my entire life and I have seen the good and the bad.  Some of the best and most loyal people I have ever met are Native American.  My children, wife and her family are all Native American and they are great people.  Very respectful and willing to help no matter what.  Some people should take the time to take that into consideration instead of the fact that they can shoot an animal with a bigger set of horns on it than they can.  Pretty sad when a race of people is judged over something as superficial as that.   :twocents:

With that being said.... Let the comments continue as they may.  You won't get anymore argument/debate from me because I am starting to understand that it doesn't make a difference for some of you.  You have to have something to bitch about no matter what.  You have your opinion and that's okay.  It's probably never going to change and that's okay too.  Good luck to all of you in the upcoming hunting seasons.   :hello:

Could be I suppose, perhaps they should say what they mean, :dunno: Blacks, Mexicans, Asians, I dont care what race, its not even in close to the same issue. This country waged war on the Native people inhabiting the land, for the land and its wealth and they won, cool, thats the way of humanity, live with it. With all of this in the minds of our leaders of that time, they came upon the idea of a treaty, the Indians get to live on what ever piece of dirt was not in demand by the whites and the whites get every thing else, once again, cool, but they were given certain rights because of those damn old treatys. And yes some Indians break the law, break the treaty, just like white folks do and Blacks, Mex,.... Littlebuf, I have great respect for you and your opinions, you have earned that by what you have posted in the past on many topics. But if you think that anyone playing a racist card is apart of a logical, usefull debate than you realy need to rethink your thinking. The Nation I belong to, The Wyandot Nation was originaly a part of the Heron Nation of the great lakes, you may have heard of the name before, In the book, Last of the Mohicans, magwa, the bad Indian was a Wyandot. Can you imagine what it was like for a people living in that incredible moutainous part of the country, being picked up and shoved on a piece of scrubass land in Oklahoma, thats what happened, once again, cool! Now you want to bad mouth all Indians, slame them as a race for the actions of a few, and the treatys your great grandfathers wrote. I realy dont know what to say to folks who think that way, except, damn you punkass bitch, your given white folks a bad name.     P.S. not you Littlebuff, respect is intact as far as Im concerned.

That's what I believe.  The indians would be very respected if they didn't have the special rights.  With special rights, come racism and jealousy.

this thing gets so heated because of the passion we ALL feel about the game we pursue. talk to a non hunter or a neutral person that could care less and they would say 'whats the big deal" well to us hunters game management is a big deal, maybe to some its jealousy but not for most. when passions run high things can get ugly fast. whats the answer  :dunno: kinda like fixing health care, is there a answer? i just like to see consistency when folks condemn one thing but then the same thing is ok in another scenario. as far as the race thing woopty doo. my family lineage includes Iroquois,Gypsy,Irish and my wife's grandmother was a full blood Cherokee. i don't believe any of this entitles me or my kids to jack squat that the next guy doesn't get. i earn my entitlements and its got nothing to do with what my ancestors endured based on there race or color (lack of color on the Irish side)

Your right, race does not entitle anyone for squat. I dont think the Indians ever said it did, the treatys our white grandfathers wrote did!  :dunno:

Think about your statement for just a minute if you can scrape two brain cells together for the party,     They would be very respected ( I assume you mean whites would respect them) if they didnt have the rights whites gave them, but we gave them the rights so we should treat them with racism and jealousy. Or did I misunderstand what you so firmly belive?

i know, thats the problem. but as soon as you bring it up your labeled a bigot. the argument is circular anyway so its forever going to go nowhere. to our native friends on here, to you believe you should still maintain the hunting regulations that you currently have solely considering the future of the game animals we all hunt and not based on the political baggage we all carry.

I belive the solution is for everyone to play by the same rules, plain and simple. We cant possibley have good game management otherwise. If you say you think the treatys are dated and need to be changed, Im not going to call you a bigot, Ill agree with you on that point. If you just want to bad mouth folks just for their heritage, well I already said it, didnt I. I think most of us that hunt with the passion we have, white or Indian would agree, it should no longer be about what I think I have coming to me or what you think you have coming to you, It needs to start being about the elk, deer, bear, all the critters that we love to hunt and most of all, having them around for our kids to hunt.
