Interesting.....if it works and is reasonably affordable...would be a great thing to use.  Hope to see more of this style of fishing line, but it has to equal the performance and be close to the same price or it will never be used.

it would be cool to do some knot strength tests, abrasion resistance so on and so on, sounds like a great idea, one of my pet peves is balls of line left by others, I spend alot of my river time gathering and cutting line, pack it out in the back of the vest.

 One of the thing's that really got me the last time I fished the river; I was pulling in a wad of mono from the bottom, when all of a sudden it took off upstream, I did pull it in to find a pink tangled in it. I released it and pulled the crap out, I saw another guy do the same on the other side same day. I started thinking about how many fish don't make it up to spawn just because of the crap in the river....
