My Trip

Saw a smallish bear on Saturday on the drive into Sullivan Lake area. 1 in the afternoon and he comes sauntering up out of the river bottom and walked across the paved road. Must have been thirsty.
Saw some very fresh tracks but couldn't catch up to him, would have been a nice bear as he had slightly over 5 inch front pad. Probably ate 2 gallons of huckleberries, but no bear sign up high. A few photos of the area and the the storm that rolled in on Sunday WOW, thought I might have to strap myself to a tree.
Little snow in the mountain tops. Had a great time!
