My son and I just got back from the trappers education cert. class. Had to stop by Cabela's to look around and ran into a friend of mine who just came down from Alaska. Talked trapping with him (actuallly he talked, we listened), for quite awhile. He traps up there, and got 32 lynx, three wolverines, and 16 wolves last season. My son wants to move up there. You guys missed a good class. Great to meet you Kain! We will have to trade some predator calling secrets later in the season. |

The WDFW site says to call this guy. Dan Boes at (360) 902-8409. I called him once and he just told me there was "no class scheduled at this time." Not very helpful. I have talked to him in the past and he was really nice. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day. |
