Yeah, I think the pig thing in WA is an urban legend :chuckle:

My cousin who used to log the Wynoochie claims to have shot one over 20 years ago off of Donkey Creek.  Don't know if I buy it or not.

Down in Puyallup there was a great place for pig hunting.  It was just off Valley Ave. It was called the Firwood - lots of pigs - tended to congregate there after sunset on the weekends.  That place burnt down a few years back, so I don't know where they go now. :dunno:

there was pigs in the wynoochee area but are gone now. A guy I ran into fishing a 2 or 3 years ago shot one with his bow that year down by mossyrock while he was elk hunting in the late season I saw the pic it was a big pig seems like he said it was 3 something.

I saw three small barrows, 35lbs each or so, up the Chiwawa River Rd in Chelan Co. on the WNF several years ago.  They were obviously recently dumped there by someone.  If I had been packing a gun, I would have brought them home.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I've seen those pigs there, some were really wrinkled too!
