I hunted for many years in MO. Starting next year I am leasing property back there so I can go back for two weeks each year and bow/rifle hunt for deer. They have some real big body deer north of the MO River. I like seeing 15 to 20 deer a day and I like the fact I can take several does if I want and then hold out for a monster buck. Plus the non-resident fees are very easy on the wallet. When I get home tonight I will post a photo that will make you drool. Great buck taken on PUBLIC land.

Born and raised there. Hunting is Awsome. Even better now than when I left I understand. There was a post on here a couple of weeks ago about MO hunting trip, you might search for it. I may try to go next year. Still have farm land in the family.

i just got back from missourri. the hunting is great there. my biggest WT. wasnt huge, i scored it myself at 124. but had broken eyegaurds. would have been an 8 but because of broken brows(one barely made an inch) it was a seven. g2's were 9 1/2 and 10 1/4. nice tall and wide. i saw alot of deer in trucks that would have broken 170 and one that was a typical 12 that was monstrous close to 200

I got back last Wednesday. I used to live there and still own some property near Mark Twain Lake. Great hunting usually. This year was kind of a bummer. With all the rain back there in October, all the corn was still in the fields. Bad news as my place is nearly surrounded by corn. Then we got 5" of rain starting Saturday afternoon. By Monday morning half my property was cutoff by a flooded creek. We did manage to get a couple though, my dad got a small 8-pointer and I killed a doe. At least I was able to bring back some meat.
