New to board
«
on:

Just found this board the other day, I liked it so I joined. After not hunting for more years than many of you have been alive I decided two years ago to buy a hunting dog and see what would happen, so picked up a Llewellin pup from a breeder in Omak and been working the dog since. It is a good thing the dog is a natural so for the most part he trains me.
This year we are having some fun, but man where are the birds. I hunt Southcentral WA. So far I've hunted the LT Murray release site and the Rez slim pickens for pheasant so far, but I'm relearning the ropes and see a bright future with this pup.

I am glad to see someone else is being trained by a new pup! Welcome to the site! (It is a good one!) A Llewellyn was one of my top dog picks. I hope you have a great hunting experience with your pup!

Welcome to the board
and welcome back to upland hunting
. New dogs are fun because they turn into great dogs. They may never win any trophies to put on the wall, but they will certainly fill your mind with trophies of each day in the field or around the house.

Welcome to the site. nice to see a fellow Llewellin Fan. I have male. He is getting up there in age. He is a 2000 model. He is on the IR list for a couple weeks.
There are a lot of great bird hunting opportunities around if your willing to work the boots and knock on some doors.
Good luck to ya and hope to see you in the field.
