I've been wanting to hit the Cour de lene or Hayden for the Spring Pike on a fly when they come intot he shallow.  I just haven't put it together yet.  One of those lifetime goals.

Nice fish. I got bit by one of those evil things in Lake Vermillion when I was younger.

I used to watch them swim around in Lake Vermillion.  Hoping to catch one.  Caught plenty of Northern and Walleye though.  That is a nice fish.

Newman and Silver in Spokane Cty have them as well. Jump across the border from Newman and you can find them in Hauser as well. They'll tear the *censored* outta your frogs, just saying.

Yup, as the thread states. I think here in the NW we can refer to them as muskies without catching too much flak - unless you're from the Midwest... fairly safe to assume we're talking about the tigers.

Just wanted to clarify.  I didn't know if everyone reading this knew that it was a cross between a pike and a musky and not a full musky.  Beautiful fish.

BTW - this thread is almost as old as the website. :)
