I'd jump on that in a hearbeat if the weeks were reversed. I took off this week, and am working next week  :bash:

good price  :)

We had a GREAT day hunting with Bill Saunders. Dan, Scott, Gary and Dinton were all out in the field at 6:30am setting up about 10 doz real (stuffer) decoys. After setting up we waited in our pit blind that was about 30 yards from our spread. A light snow started to fall about 1 hr before shooting time. About 40 min after 8, Bill let us know that the birds were comming and to get ready. He started his expert calling and we covered up with anticipation of knocking down a few on our first go round. It was fast and furious. No turkey shoot by any means, Denton nailed one honker that was trying to escape the firepower, it must have been 75 yrds out, it brought a round of cheers when it fell. We all had our limt by 10am. Mostly Lessers but we each took a big bird home too. Fantastic day and I'm home early.

Glad you had a good time.  I've hunted with Bill a couple of times and have always had a good hunt.

5 of hunted with Bill last year at this time. He is absolutley awesome!! The field we hunted had been sprayed and there was not a thing growing in it. There was not any feathers, goose poop, NOTHING. We sat there for probably 3 hours until the birds started heading back to the river. Bill got on his calls and pulled flock after flock into our laps. We asked him what the deal was and he said with the wind blowing that hard he knew he could pull birds in for a resting spot. He said when he was a kid he had to earn his birds and couldn't afford a lease and that anyone could go to a field where they are feeding and shoot them. The guy knows his sh@#. Check out the story on his web site. Pretty cool.
I hope when I die my wife doesn't sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

Bill's the man. I've hunted with him a few times over the years.  Budget's a little too tight for full price trips this year.
