Wolves killing lion hounds in Montana
« on: January 30, 2010, 08:48:18 AM »
Got these pics from a buddy this AM.  I'll keep names out of it but Wolves attacked and killed hounds while they were hunting lions in Montana a few weeks ago.
Wild Turkey, Walleyes, Whitetails and Wapiti..These are a few of my favorite things!!

Way out of control, I personally like Wyoming's plans, and their ways of dealing with wolves.

:mgun: :mgun:     it wont be long before they are like coyotes in wa state with a population of like 50,000  or more. There needs to be a plan to address this before it get worse!!!

I have a good number of freinds in troy, I asked about this. they had not heard of it at the time, but all agree, the wolves are becoming a problem and shooting wolves is the most talked about thing now.

Yeah with wolves not really having any predator threats they will multiply fast and they naturally cover great distances of land. It's gonna happen really fast!

The pictures say everything about wolves, what good are they not only do they kill every animal in the woods but they kill relatives to. I didnt buy a wolf tag in Idaho last year but those pictures just made my mind up for me this year.

Don't know if it's the same picture or incident but there was a couple pics and an article in Hunting Illustrated last winter.  Hunter lost 3 dogs and had another wounded, One or two escaped.  The KILLIN BAS1UR&$ EVEN CHEWED THROUGH A LOCATOR COLLAR.  >:(  The hunter said it was the 2nd time it had happened that fall and early winter, (not the same hunter) I'll see if I still got the magazine :bash:
