6.5X284 seems to be a lot of interest in this calibar over on the savage shooters site .They are saying that the .284 brass for reloading is hard to find some times . I would rather have just the 284 but thats just me . I do know that savage does build a rifle in 6.5X284. slenk |

Not sure if this is the cal. I will end up with have read it is very hard on barrels! Going to use a rem. 700 action McMillan stock and krieger barrel and a gunsmith by the name of rick beginski from mukilteo is building it |
