--- Quote from: Shootmoore on February 17, 2010, 05:21:26 PM ---I just sent off my resume to apply for this job. I have 0 of the required and or desired experience. However in my Resume I did advise them of the following on why I would be the best for the job.
"As I have not yet drank from the Kool-Aid of the Al Gore crowd, and believe that there is now outstanding scientific evidence to debunk the Climate Change as being caused by humans I would be the Absolute best choice for this possition.
In todays budget shortages and economic climate, with my scientific view on the climate change and or lack there of, in this position I could and would save the WDFW and the State hundrededs of thousands of dollars if not millions of dollars spent on a non-issue. I look forward to being able to assist the WDFW in saving these funds so that they can be properly directed to the propogation of game and fish where it so rightly belongs."
You think I will make it to the interview process?
Gotta have fun when you can!

Dear Mr. Shootmoore
We appreciate your interest, as long as you are for wolves and not for hunting, you have the job. Also if you can write letters and tell your friends at W-H, the better your chances will be for the job. Please tell them that we are doing our best, and that the wolves will not effect the big game herds nor will they spread diseases that could result in surgery or possible death. Feel free to also add that many of us in the WDFW are committed totally in all of your hunting. Make sure that all of your friends know that coyotes and vultures kill more livestock and deer than wolves. ABOVE ALL, say very nice things about Defenders of Wildlife, mostly because They are the reason your wildlife is in the shape that it is today. If you could add something about how the wolves have made the weather a bit wetter or dryer that would be just dandy, climate change you know. :chuckle:
Sincerely, WDFandWolves,
WDFW-SUX:
I have to say that this job posting encompasses everything that is wrong with WDFW into one job..
"Leading and coordinating efforts to educate WDFW employees, other agencies, the legislature, and the public about the implications and urgent nature of climate change as it relates to the Department's mission"
This really pisses me off. They complain about not having money to do what they need to do for wildlife yet they are willing to spend 100k+ a year on a pile of bureaucratic dog sh it that will do nothing to help washington wildlife. This is unbelievable. >:(
Special T:
The state pulls this stuff all the time! Bobcat has this spot on! They either got fed money that should be spent on WILDLIFE or they gave WDFW another funding cut by hiding another bureaucrat in their dept! The State only looks outside of the box to find "Funding Sources" not solving problems!
WDFW-SUX:
Even if they got stimulus money for the position that money will dry up after the first year and then WDFW will be on the hook for the $$$ after that. This is as bad as it gets as far as Im concerend. The science behind "climate change" is so full of holes that this should be considered embezzlement by the tax payers....Just terrible.

Come on folks, if we close another fish hatchery or eliminate a few more game wardens from unneccesary areas, we can easily hire this badly need professional and still show that we are reducing our budget at the same time. :bash:
