At first it looked like there was a healthy balance of comments, but towards the end there isn't anything but bunnyhuggers. Still haven't seen my comment get posted yet

One of the comments did a good job using a metaphor people can understand. "It's like the govt restoring crabgrass in your lawn." I'm pretty sure more people understand the effect of crabgrass on their yard. Strange as it seems, quite a few people that vote don't really have a good picture of where meat comes from. For them, it's no use talking about matters of biology.
Other comments like the one soliciting assassins, (scalp, shoot, poison people, etc.) an interesting choice for their editor to allow.

I posted a note just a while ago and it is already on there....
Dale - Washington
As a resident in a state where wolves are being brought back I am truly concerned. While I could agree with trying to allow a few wolves on the landscape, it seems the government wants to have too many all at once.
I think we would all be better off to take recovery in small steps and see how wolves fit into our modern ecosystems a few at a time in the southern 48 states. Human safety, Livestock Predation, and potential for Disease Transmission need to carefully considered.
For info about all these important considerations, please check out
www.graywolfnews.com
and you will learn a lot about what's in the news regarding wolves.
