If i am looking to just catch and release, i throw spinners, if i am gonna eat em i run about a 3ft leader under a slip sinker with half a nightcrawler, thread the open end on the hook leaving somewhat of a tail and then shoot a little air in the closed end with a syringe from a feed store, kills em for the kids down here
