Old tooth brush, oil, squirt bottle of Coleman and my Bore Snake. Think I'll give the plain alcohol a try next time I shoot a couple boxes. |

I've used them (separately) to nuetralize the left overs from corrosive ammo/primers in surplus ammo. Seemed to work well, as I never had a problem with corrosion/rust in the bores of these old rifles. |

Hi, The Windex works well to neutralize the corrosive salts that are by-products of the burnt propellant and caps. You still need to apply an oil to the bore though for long term storage. Lee |
