what is important to you? for 9hundy you might find a sako or a used ti |

If your serious about spending $900.00 I would save another couple months and get yourself a Cooper Arms Rifle. http://cooperfirearms.com/ |

Sako 85 finnlight? It might be hard to come by one for 900$ considering most I have found are in the $1,100 to $1,300 range, but it may be worth the search. Gun budgets are like old car restoration projects. You know it is going to cost more than you budget to get what you really want. The (85) has a 1" 100 yard accuracy guarantee as well. Sako 75 as well, I don't think they have fluted barrels though if you are dead set on having one. Check out the Tikka T3 SS, great rifle for the price and well under $900. I'm certainly a Remington fan as well, but my experience is that you usually have to spend some money to make it ultra accurate. In particular, trigger work to overcome the factory trigger set points. If a person is somewhat gun savvy you can do it yourself and save a little money. I think some Remington CDL select models have a different trigger (X-Mark pro) that is probably a little better. In addition, I'm not a fan of the extractor, usually would have it switched to a sako style. |
