alright so i was sitting on one side of a canyon looking all the way across it at another buck in a small draw bedded down, i could see horns on him so i figured he might be a legal buck so i started on my hike side hilling it tell i found a good spot to go down and across to that buck, so i walk like 30 ft to the side  above this tiny little draw that i didnt even notice it was so small, the normal size draws on these canyons are normally huge, well out jumps this buck right and stands there looking at me sitting down to shoot it and boom, i shoot at like 75 maybe 100 yards and he just stands there and looks at me like i missed him and he walks around the the hill to the next draw so i was like oh s**t and started hauling butt after him to get another shot and i go about another 30 ft and out jumps a huge 3 point an easy 140 inch 3 point and he just stands there and looks at me forever.....and of course i didnt shoot cuz i didnt know if my first buck had gone down or not, so i let him go and make it around the corner to shoot again at the first buck and i cant find blood or anything or a deer, i looked for about 30 minutes all over this hillside and i finally found him he had ran up the hill about 60 yards and dropped, i was thinking he would have headed down into the bottom of the draw but i no some how i spotted like 3 inches of an antler like 50 yards up the hill from where i was, lol so yeah this canyon is so steap there was no way we were going to move this deer any way but down, we dragged him about 50 yards down to a tiny little ledge that was alittle less steap (it was so steap the deer would started rolling) qaurtered him out and walked out in the dark one step at a time, walking up shell rock canyons with deer and gear in the dark is not fun lol

that's a great looking mulie predatorpro.  How wide is he?
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Thats an awesome buck and great story. Have had whitetails take a shoulder punch from my '06 and walk away like nothing happened. Its the strangest thing way to keep after him. A lot of guys would have whacked the other buck.

Great Muley! Glad you were able to find him. Sounds like that little draw needs to be looked at again next year!
