Its hard to think about it. I was just about to make the leap when Washington changed its regs. That and trapping. At least they are seeing the light and opening hound hunting back up a bit with the cats, even though its a draw thing. At least Idaho is close by. |

I was talking to a guy in pomeroy a couple weekends ago who's got a couple walkers if i remember correctly. he just runs coons with his dogs anymore, said he will not go to idaho any more for bears or lions because of the wolves. he's got a buddy in idaho who won't run his dogs over there anymore either, already lost one of his hounds to the wolves. |

I am hearing more and more of that over there. I also heard that they are toying with the idea of putting out some tags for wolves there. Dont know if that was a rumor or not. It makes it tough but when you hound hunt you never know once you dump that tailgate. We have lost dozens of dogs over the years. |
