| Hornseeker:
Geesh, sorry to flood this post ( I guess its my post...??)...anyhow, I just searched for record scores and it turns out a friend of mine still holds the NFAA outdoor records for Field, hunter and Animal!!! He's from your guys neck of the woods too! I knew he had won some titles through the years, but I didn't know it was record setting stuff. Adult Male TRAD (Record Scores for 56 Field - 56 Hunter - 28 Animal and Aggregate Score as of July 2006) Aggregate D. Eatmon WA 1994 2395 Animal T. Driscoll CA 2004 532 Animal D. Eatmon WA 1994 532 * Field D. Eatmon WA 1994 946 Hunter D. Eatmon WA 1994 917 That is some unreal shooting. Dave was shooting with us at a barbecue last summer, my dad and two other guys were shooting compounds while Dave and I shot Trad... We had a shooting game going where you would lose points on certain parts of the target, first guy to 100 wins.... we were at 45 yards. My dad is a fair shot with his compound. When Dave it 100, my dad had like 94.... and...being a fair shot myself (Fair, being key word)... I had +7 points!!! (the perimeter of the target was like -5 or something like that!) He is fun to watch shoot! |

That is some awesome shooting! Matt shoots freestyle, depends on the day which bow he is shooting. I know he has a new bow, can't remember the name right now, but I am sure he'll chime in here with it. Or he might just go back to old reliable, "woody" his Bowtech Commander. The real questions is what bow will he be hunting with this year since the Allegiance is gone? |
| Matt:
Maitland Zeus. Probably THE BEST bow that I have ever shot for competition. We shall see next week. Anyway. No hunting bow right now. We shall see what August brings. |

I've never heard of such a beast!!! :o |

The guy just started making bows this last fall he has 2 models right now. The Zeus which is 38" ATA and the Retribution that is 33" i think. Both IBO at 318 not blistering fast but they are definately shooters. For 2011 he will bump up the IBO speeds to 340 on the hunting models. Here are a couple pics. The target is a 60 yard group. |
