Hunting anywhere in se alaska is great. I have relatives all around there. I just never have the time or the funds to get the tags. They all say come on up. They even have an old home stead property that they hunt brown bear from down by hyder. Good luck on your hunt. |

*Knock on wood* I sure hope I get to see more bear than I did last time.. Spring was really tough up there this year. Still saw 5 big boars but only 1 big ugly old sow let me get within shooting range.. Prince of Wales is LEGENDARY though... Very optimistic. |

I was out there two years ago for four days and seen over thirty black bears no big ones but alot. Here's are pictures of the ferry that you take out to the Island. |
