WDFW December Proposals
Curly:
I just got the following email from wdfw. I don't have time right now to read the attachment. Will read later this evening, but thought I'd post it here in case others wanted to read it.
--- Quote ---Dear Wildlife Enthusiast:
Attached for your review and comment are amendments to the multiple season big game permits. This proposal will be presented to the Fish and Wildlife Commission at their December 3-4, 2010 meeting in Olympia. The Commission will consider adopting or amending this regulation at that time.
If you would like the Department and Commission to consider your written comments regarding these recommendations, please submit them by November 10, 2010.
Thank you for your interest in the management of wildlife in this state. If you have any questions, please contact us at (360) 902-2515.
Sincerely,
Wildlife Program Customer Service

bigtex:
Sounds good to me, brings in a few more $ when the dept really needs it and it is only for those who want to pay (not required such as a license fee increase). It has my approval :IBCOOL:
400out:
Sound really good to me! I might have to apply for that multi season permit
Ridgerunner:
The proposals say that they will draw 4000 for deer and 850 for elk. They probably anticipate not all teh people buying them so actual numbers will be considerably lower. In the proposals it talks about what % of people purchased them this last year, basically they want to make sure they sell the amount they want.
400out:
Yeah that is about what I took out of it, I think people apply, get drawn them think how am I going to get out to take advantage of it! I can understand where most people cant run around every weekend from sept to the rut :dunno:
