Does anybody on here have any landowner contacts that would allow me to enter their property on Vashon or Maury Island and take a deer or two?
King County closed the only public hunting land on the island about 5 days before the rifle season opened.
There was an article in the Vashon paper in August talking about the deer problem on the island and how WDFW helps match hunters with island landowners. I contacted the WDFW biologist for the area and he said that isn't true, in fact he wish there was such a program.
Mist Isle farms is already booked.
Any help would be appreciated.
