-We were in about 3 miles. In the 5500' Range. I'm pretty sure I found a shed from this Buck the year before, its alittle chewed on but looks Identical to him. I think he lived on the Ridge I hunt and he don't even come down with the snow. I found the shed almost in the same spot I shot him.

Looks like they might be getting ready to log your area with the trees marked like that. Hope they dont screw it up. Looks like you have a good thing going.

It was your first day of hunting you say?  What day of the general season...the opener?  That deer isn't even that old if I had to guess.  Short nose, the white and black brow on his face appear to be around a 4 or 5 year old deer in my experience of looking at big deer in Washington.  What were you thinking...shooting a young buck and not letting him grow?   :chuckle:

Nice deer!  Can you give us a hint (GMU) 100's, 200's or 300'?  ;)  I'll keep just between you and me!

Congrats on an epic buck! Loving the width! Beautiful face on that boy, too!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.
