I've been shooting a couple of times a week for the last month or so. I shoot my bow at least once a week. Just had to order some more bullets, I've shot a box of a hundred thru my 338 this year.

shooting at least a dozen from each pin of a 5-pin sight, just got my rifle back from the gunsmith and he called today to let me know that the other one is done too. gonna be shooting alot more in the coming weeks but just now, only the bow.

I shoot at least twice a week, mostly .22 rifle and various handguns. I’ve been out a couple times trying to find a load that works in my ML rifle but I’d be embarrassed to show those results.

I've put about 2,500 rounds down the tube of my rimfires, but nothing centerfire yet this year. Took a few "new" shooters out plinking to familiarize them with guns--I think I made two more converts.
One of which was very anti-gun before I drug her out...now she's begging to go again!
Been itching to find that *right* new bow and get to shooting.

Well I won’t be driving any tacks with this rifle but that’s a 100 yard group I can live with.

i shoot about 25 22lr's a day. when im staying over night at the barn watching mares, i am constantly on the prowl for rats.. their tricky little suckers and they make for good practice with a pellet rifle.. about every other day with my recurve.

Thats a great group for 100 yrds with a ML. I have a hard time keeping 5 shots in a 4 inch group. I do have new sites but I think there dialed in, its me probably. I was shooting allot until last month when I hit my hammer on my TC on the bench at GH sportsman club and broke the sear. I just ordered a new one and some extras as this is twice now.
Anyway hope to be out again soon.
What kind of load are you shooting? What gun?

The load for that set was 60 grains of Triple Seven FFFG, a wad of lard and wax impregnated cotton, and an un-patched .535 Speer round ball. The rifle is an Umberti .54 cal Santa Fe Hawken.
I’ve gotten a lot of good advice from Slenk and I’ve been doing a good bit of range work with various loads. My groups have ranged from over 18” to what you see there. There are a lot of variables; propellant type, propellant size, charge size, ball size, patch or no patch, patch thickness, lube, etc. This seems to work best for my rifle.
I still need to do some sight adjustment. I was holding on the top of the gray box, about a 4”-5” drop. But first I’ll try upping the charge until I start to lose consistency.
