Congrats! Duck hunting is a blast! There is something about that magic time at first light with the sounds of wings and mallard chatter!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Now you will be hooked.  Were you hunting out of your marsh rats??  I see you have them loaded in the trailer.
Cut em!

Great picture. Your significant other must feel pretty blessed. I always meet girls who say they want to hunt and fish, but none of them ever followed through with it. Keep it up!.

I like the name Remi for the dog. I was thinking Widgeon or Harli for my next dog (I prefer females).

Congrats on the first bird. Waterfowling has given me a greater appreciation for wildlife, conservation, and the natural beauty that Washington has to offer than anything else.

"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

Gotta have a new boat, the new Benelli Vinci, all the new decoys and calls that come out every year and dont forget the Chesapeake (below at 1 month) with 2 months of pro training.

Oh yes I remember come to think of it I need to go to the store !!!    :)
