HANK!

Probably the best name for a Hound dog. Even though my biggest pet peeve is a barking dag, that picture made my day.

Had a black lab named spook.

haha

our old lab was named lester [the molester]

my vizsla is Crown (because of his color, when we first got him he laid down next to a bottle of crown royal that was on the lower shelf, and thier colors matched perfectly.)

other names i like: jack, ollie, chief, moose, tyee, skook[um], murphy, chinook
catch it. kill it. cook it. eat it.
Forget the bear spray, use wasp killer. Concentrated delivery stream, 10X the product, and only $3.00 on sale.

I smoke two fish in the morning, I smoke two fish at night, I smoke two fish in de afternoon makes me feel alright

Ok, have to add one here.

First, my oldest Plott Hound:Skip (My dog Skip)
My other Plott:Zena (the warrior princess) Yea, I know we spelled it wrong.
Rottie: Sadie (Wife named her)

My next two Plotts Hunter & Killer.  Love the combo.  The first will track you down, the second will take care of business. The only problem, the Wife doesnt like the names.

that dog is not barking he is a.... singing and who couldnt use a little singing in their life :)

our hunting dog was Gunn (Shotgunn) and my Borzoi ( a sight hound) was given the name noname ( planned litter and an unplanned litter apparently when you get to puppy 22 the names become less creative  :chuckle: ) and it was shortened to nona...or I just called her nono IF I ever get another big dog it will be another sight hound not sure which kind just love them and their ability to run... god I wish we could course hare and yotes here  :bash: :bash:

A few names that I have liked the most:
Lady, Rowdy, Sporty, Blue, Sam, Huck, Pete, Fancy, Windy, Red, Buck, Bear, Beauty, Boomer, Banjo, Chief

I always preferred one syllable names that all sound different.

I have gotten stuck with some names when I have bought dogs that I didn't like:
Wiz, Amtrack, Axe, Travelor, Trooper, Drifter, Blackie.....

As common as it is, I have never had a dog named gunner, that may be the next name I use.
