Wenhunter congrats on a fine elk. That gentleman that told where he saw those bulls at was that friend of mine who was looking for a cow. He gave me a call last week and asked about some ideas. We have both hunted elk up there in the past but that was archery. He is having to cover lots of ground on snowshoes. Congrats again

Tell your buddy thanks for the great info and the top notch directions, we ended up going up to where he had seen them and then made our way to where they were feeding and bedding.  I hope he gets is cow, tell him good luck!! If I hear of anything I will let you know to pass it on.

Yep that bull is going to look good on your wall Wenhunter. Rod said he heard your guys shots and knew you put one down. I forwarded him the pics (he is not a member here) and he said to tell you congrats and job well done. I think he might head over again next weekend.

Anyone know where the cows are hanging out at? I have a buddy with a cow tag that is trying to fill it.
