That video makes me want to book a hunt today  :chuckle: I've never been on a guided hunt, one of these days. Maybe they should make a science teacher discount  :chuckle: Anyways great hunt, looked 100% professional, amaizing cat, made me proud to be a sportsman and a hunter.

I'll vote for that "teacher discount" here in about 2 weeks... :chuckle:

Congrats! And tell your wife welcome back home, from all of us :salute:

:yeah:
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

With the quota being almost met does that mean the permit w/out dogs also?  My husband and I have a permit for the Blues from Jan. - Mar 31st and wonder if the late tags are not worth it because the quota is filled before we have a chance to hunt it?
Awesome cougar, great pictures, video and story!!!!  Hope your wife made it home safe and sound.

Your tag is a totally separate tag.  I doubt there is even a quota in your area in the Blues, and if there is, I would highly doubt boot hunters alone would fill it since there is no hound permits issued there.  You should have all the opportunity in the world to hunt.

I plan to donate another cougar hunt to the forum if the hound hunting bill HB1124 gets passed. But without the bill passing there will be no hound season again. The last bill was only a pilot project and expired, we need the new bill to pass. Please go to this thread, I listed the email addresses for legislators, and send a short message of support, one message copied to all will work fine and is easy to do.

Maybe we can go hunting next winter.....
