New camera for Christmas!

Got my wife a point and shoot for her birthday last year and she was doing so well with that one I decided to get her a new Canon for Christmas. Shes been having so much fun and I was really impressed with the pics she has taken allready.    Here's a few of her photos from the last week...............

 Thanks for all the nice comments and encouragement!!!!    We live in the Stanwood area but all the photos were taken last week on Fir Island over the course of a couple of trips. She has a lot to learn about the technical aspects of photography but she has a great eye for composition and I am real proud of what she has been able to do so soon. Here is a couple more shots from Fir Island that I just re-sized ........

I thought I recognized some of those barns and locations! I have grown up in Skagit County and worked all over it through the years. There used to be a lot of Tulip fields in your area when I was a kid and I helped dig them. I got 1 penny a foot crawling on my hands and knees hand digging those darned bulbs and putting them in gunnysacks!  One of the fields was right there at that barn in photo #4!

Again, please tell your wife she is doing Fantastic! The Eagle photos are wonderful!
