nice photos.. thanks for sharing! I stopped in today to stretch my legs on my way to Chelan.. there were still a decent number of animals down but they're definitely filtering out! I keep wondering if that old whitened bull will make it back up the hill... anyone know which one I'm talking about? He hobbles or lays around... big old bases but regressing.. I think he's a 4 by 3 now. Any photos of him? I should have taken some this evening... might be his last season.

Is this the bull? This one had the bad hoof. It was his left side. the hoof was bent up he is a hobbler. I didn't get a pic of his foot

Gosh, I only saw him today.. you'd think I'd be able to identify him better!  :chuckle: I think that's the one I was thinking of... he looks a little more robust in your photo than he did the last two times I've stopped in on him. Today all the other animals spooked at a dog barking in a rig but he didn't even bother to get up or even open his eyes... then again if it is the same one maybe he's just tired of standing around on that hoof!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

OK, I need some help, I'm confuse-ed     :dunno:.  How many elk feeding stations are there on the East side and what would be the closest one to Leavenworth :dunno:   I've tried running through the WDFW site and can't make heads or tails from it.  Oak Creek is the only real info I see, and that's down by Yak/ Nachese, , correct?
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

Closets one to you would be Joe watt canyon near thorp.  Next one would be oak creek in yakima. If you need directions let me know.

I have never been to Joe Watt but know Oak creek is the most popular for visitors and easily accessed off hwy 12.
