They're definitely legal. I like them because they are bigger, so easier to put on the nipple without tools, and cured my misfire problems. |

Maybe it will make a difference as far as the problems I've had in the past with Musket caps falling off the nipple. I switched back to #11's because of that. But I think I'll try those that you mention. On a side note, FYI I shot both Musket Caps and #11's through a chrony and with the powder load I was using there was not a single difference in velocity. Was using 100 grs of Pryodex. I can see a positive side of using musket caps. But not if they keep falling off. |
