Spring Bear Permit Drawing
« on: March 10, 2011, 12:21:37 PM »
Just thought I would start the first thread on when they are going to post the results, I am guessing/hoping March 25th we will be able to "back door", just wish I had not drawn last year, don't expect to be drawn again.......
But you never know.....

Multi-season results should be in April. The deadline to apply is March 31st.

I didn't even apply for a point for spring bear this year. I'm trying to cut back on how much money I spend with the WDFW this year. I'm sure they won't notice though, unless others do the same.

ya, unless you dont buy a licence/tag at all, your $6 isn't going to be noticed..
even then, they wont miss a couple hundred $$, they spend more on that w/o care.

Yeah, well I also didn't buy the bear/cougar tags when I bought my deer/elk combo, like I normally do. And I'm not buying the small game license. Take that WDFW!   :chuckle:

Hopefully this isn't the year you come around a corner and that cat's standing in the road!  That's the only reason I buy 'em every year, I know the year I don't buy them will be the year I hit the 1/100 chance of bumping into a cougar.  :bash:

Yeah I am thinking March 25th as well. When were we able to see back door results last year?

Don't really care about turkeys. Besides, I've got to cut back somewhere. Money doesn't seem to grow on trees anymore. And, I hope to be spending an additional $180 on the multi-season deer permit, so that will more than make up for the other licenses and tags I don't purchase.    :)

??
now that is just funny to me, you object to spending money on Spring Bear app/Bear/Cougar/Small Game, yet think paying $180+regular tag and licence for deer is O.K. ?
different strokes......
Good Luck ! (and if you do see those damn Turkeys, please PM me !)

Same here and I didn't buy the wife an elk tag this year. Will try to cut out on permit apps later on as well.

:chuckle:   Can you blame him? There aren't any good units around here to apply for. Lincoln would be alright if the entire GMU is open. But it's not.   :bash:
