Talk to Loki.. They have m on lots of islands but not too many people are keen on hunting... Bow hunting deer is popular because it doesn't announce your presence.  :twocents: would be a great spot but the loals would have a fit.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

They really need to be thinned out on the Islands.  James Island is so overrun with them you can’t camp there or even moor your boat on the dock without being assaulted by gangs of coons.  My Golden Retriever can no longer retrieve due to a coon bite on her jaw that she got keeping the varmints away our tent on Cypress Island.

Hunt them please!

  There are no coons out here.....

Actually, at 3:30 this morning I spent 20 minutes out on the deck trying to spot one of the little *censored*s through the deck boards, no luck.  Of course, a couple of garbage bags were left out last night and it ripped them up -- hey DOG, don't sleep so soundly!  I'll have to set the trap tonight I guess.

Plenty of public land on Cypress, plenty of coons too.  Just shine a light over the beach at night during low tide; you’ll see plenty of eyes shining back.

Hey, if you want to come down here to Chehalis, I see coons all the time while Turkey hunting, I think the Turkeys would appreciate a few of those *censored*s being thinned out,
I figure if I see 4-5 a year while Turkey hunting, there are a lot more around that I dont see.
