Howdy! new to this forum and fairly new in WA. However, not new to hunting at all. I hunted for many years in Germany, where I grew up and still have the best hunting buddies one can have over there. However, Germany is not around the corner and it's about time I get to know how hunting is done in WA. Since heading out all by myself is only half as fun, I look forward to meet anyone that shares a passion for hunting.
So, if anyone (rookie or veteran) is heading out in the cascades in August for bear hunting and needs additional support with glassing, field dressing and packing, please feel free to shoot me a message. Don't worry about my endurance and physical strength. Although 42 I outrun most people in their 20s.

Hey Tatze - have you found a hunting buddy yet or need another hand? I'm looking for a hunter partner so more than happy to pair up and see if its a fit. I'm 46 and in pretty good shape so there is a good chance I can keep up. Let me know I'm in the Renton, WA area so we're not too far away.

Hey all - new to the forum as well as the PNW! Moved here from the New England area. I am looking to see if anyone is looking for a hunting buddy or to wanting/willing to be in a "mentor" style role. I completed hunter-education back in August and have both small and big game licenses. I have a variety of tags as well (whatever was with the small/big bundle when purchasing from WDFW).
I'm interested in all aspects hunting - but my proficiency is much higher with rifle than with bow, and I don't have archery equipment at the moment. Currently I'm waiting on scope rings and then need to find a place to zero my hunting rifle before attempting any tags myself. But am more than willing to get out in the field as a second pair of eyes.
Interested in duck/waterfowl as well but not sure where to start there on my own.
I'm looking into either the current season but have no issues with late season/winter as well.
