Using a 210 Berger @ 3100fps there is an 18" difference in point of impact at 1000yds going from 4000' ASL to 10,000' ASL.  Going from 2000' ASL to 4000' ASL there is 10" difference in impact.  Really, if you are going to enter all your conditions into a program to get a conversion factor, there isn't any reason to not just dial for your shot.  Your basically doing the same thing.

I would really like to know the load you are using that is pushing that 210 Berger at 3100 fps.

So far, I am getting 2950 with RL 25. Berger's load data at max does not show above 2980.

Retumbo, my match chamber reamer, Broughton and Rock barrels.  Runs 3080-3120 out of 27-28" barrels. 


At 2950fps, there will be even more difference between elevations.

I run the 210's right around 3K using Retumbo out of a 26" barrel.  The 190's were more consistant at long ranges in that RUM , so I stuck with them.  Good info rbros -- I like reading your posts.
