If you plan to hunt black bear in northern Washington or in Idaho, Montana, or Wyoming, be safe and take the grizzly bear tests and review the Bear Identification programs. In NE Washington and in Montana you must pass their test before you can bear hunt. MY ADVICE Take all three tests and do the Idaho Identification program, hopefully you can avoid accidentally shooting a grizzly bear when out bear hunting. The hassles and possible fines for anyone accidentally shooting a grizzly are tremendous!
