Austrian Fellas
« on: August 29, 2011, 09:19:28 AM »
Howdy gents, the fellas from Austria have flown into Seattle.  They are getting their hunting lic and bear tags today.  If anyone can take them out bear hunting tomorrow and or Weds can you let me know.  I am taking them out Thursday and Friday.  Thanks in adance, they seem like really nice guys and it should be alot of fun and a great experience to hunt with some guys from another country.

In WA state,  :)  They are willing to travel, if you could take them out for a day (or two) that would be great.  They don't have great expectations on taking a bear, but they just want to experience the bear hunting here.

A few questions...  How many are there?  Can they hike in a bit/camp overnight?  Have transportation?  Have guns (or bows)?

Two guys, Chris and Gunther, they said they are fit enough for some decent hiking.  They don't have alot of gear.  I am letting them use two of my rifles when they come over here.  If you have a spare rifle, I imagine they could both use one.  I have some camping gear for them, but not sure how I'm going to get it to them.  I may end up meeting them halfway, say around Ellensburg this evening and giving them some gear, if need be.  If someone can hook them up with a rifle and maybe take them out then I wouldn't have to drive over tonight, kind of flying by the seatof the pants at the momment.  If you have something in mind PM me and maybe we can hash something out.  I'm still waiting to hear back from them, they were going with thier friend to buy lic and tags, so I'm waiting to hear that went ok.  Thanks for considering helping out.  I appreciate it.

Thats awesome I wish I could help you out.  My dad and I took some fellas from the Netherlands out shooting last summer.  They had a great time shooting up all our ammo.   :chuckle:

My daughter (in the hat) loved playing with their girls and they didnt know a bit of English.  Was a great day.
