Sorry for your loss :'( we hate loosing the good one's. On a side note there is a vaccine out for rattle snakes at the vet it cost around 20 dollars I'm going to do it next year since we live in a snake area.

I heard that, honestly never thought about getting them since I've only seen 3 in the last 15 years, I guess it's cheap insurance.  Thanks!
Not to be Debbie Downer, but I don't think It would have helped your :twocents: dog Machias, as fast as that happened.

Machias my last post #40. I didn't mean your 2 cent dog, it was supposed to be at the end offering my 2 cents. Didn't mean to offend. Sorry!!!! :bash:

I took it the way you meant it.  No need to apologize.   :chuckle:

I am truly sorry about your loss.  Everytime I read one of these threads, I reach down and pet my lab.  He is always where i am.  He and I do have heated discussionjs about who is in charge.  He listens to my argument then gets up and walks away.  He is part of the family.  The wife and I have discussed what would we do if he is taken away.  I don't know how I would handle it.  Again I am very sorry about the loss.
Everyone be careful out there.  A fishing guide came by my house to get water the other day.  He camped at Stinson Flats on the Klickitat.  In the short time he has been there he has run into 4 of them.  He said one was four foot and was on the boat ramp.  Looks like it is going to be a bad year.  By the way that pup of your was a handsome guy.  Get back out there.  You have pictures and memories.  Good luck

Sorry to hear that, a good dog is hard to replace.  Especially a 7 yr old dog that's has established a place in the family.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.
