Trapper Education and how to get a trapping license
wormfood:
I did the class last winter and would highly recomend it. Well worth the drive, very educational and informative. They brought many different traps in to demo and did a skinning demo too. Good place to get questions answered. I was very happy i went to the class instead of doing the online thing.

I want to get one too ...So keep me posted ! Where do they usually hold these classes ? Any place up North of Seattle ?
Humptulips:
To tell the truth Karens class is the only one in W Wa this year. George does classes on the east side. We try to do at least one on the west side every year. The other instructors can do classes but they wait until we get calls. Only other person that takes the intiative to schedule a class is Ron Qualman near Bremerton.
Karen gives a very good class and is well worth spending a couple hours on the road to get there. No doubt in my mind you will learn enough to save you many times the few hours in traveling when you start trapping.
