I would try east of lake Stevens, get a map and explore, maybe even get a trail cam. I haVe not seen any deer on the granite falls side of the mountain loop highway, but I'm sure they are there

Tired of everyone giving up my area. I was up at C-post today checking my cam and making sure the bears haven't eaten all the apples. Picked up two NICE sheds already....thick bases......and saw a few nice tracks. I'm hoping the bucks start dropping more soon. It is close to home and with the good number of bucks some blacktail sheds should be pretty easy to come by.

Looks like C-Post already has a run of kings starting...should be another great year   Bring your salmon pole and a big back pack for all of those monster sheds.

I noticed the river was in good shape up there. Some of my favorite runs were calling me. Ill be sure to take the ol meat stick and some roe for drifting. Maybe ill see you up there again. You still park in the same field?

Check the regs...I think it is artificials only with 16/0 hooks. Don't park in the field it is now full of elk.
