New gun safe
« on: January 12, 2012, 06:28:12 PM »
after many years of putting it off, I bought one -  Champion  trophy series 42  from Ranch & Home, on sale for $ 1599.00    not sure how great of deal it is but it needed to get done.

I even have room room for MORE guns  whoo hoo!

Looks nice, make sure you bolt it down!
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Thanks for the comments

I had not thought about the ammo?  it is some old stuff I got from my grandfather years ago, I will empty out the shells and just keep the boxes.  thanks again.

Nice safe. I wish mine was that big.. I got a nice new Libery 25 gun safe at Cabelas on Black Friday though and I love it. Got it real cheap too.

Your ammo won't explode in the safe. Look at sportco, they store a bunch of powder in safes there. The worry with ammo in there is the potential for extra corrosion from what I've always been told.
