The bolt looks awkward.  Just looks like it doesn't go with the rest of the lines of the rifle.  Should be a semi-automatic.  Has the twenty-first century look, but the designers added a bolt so the old guys would buy it.

going for semi auto speed without the restrictions placed on semiautos...... like magazine capacity. I'm shooting 4+1, semi autos over here arent aloud to shoot more than 2+1 while hunting.

Are they cheaper to purchase on the other side of the pond?  I know those rifles and scopes cost an arm and a leg over here.  You would be getting close to the $5k mark for the set up.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Unbelievable set up.   Absolutely amazing piece of artwork.

I will never own a rifle nearly that pretty, because:
  1.    It's so pretty I'd be really afraid of scratching it.
  2.   I've got 5 kids......   That pretty much takes care of my money!

Congrats.    You sound like the kind of guy that will really enjoy that amazing rifle.

I dont mind scratching the wood(which is actually pretty tought)but i do kinda get an itch from the though of buying a used rifle with scratched wood because my scratches are my stories and memories but those are someone elses.

I've been looking to purchase another rifle cause my cravings have gotten bad lately. :chuckle:  Was looking real hard at Christensen Arms but the more I look at the Blaser R8 my mind is changing rapidly.  For the price difference I could purchase two barrels and come in at about the same money.  Nice gun and optics and what a group it shot first time at the range.  The price on the scope was awesome for a Schmidt & Bender.

I was setting up a trail camera and had this rifle leaning against a tree. My dog came sprinting buy right through my rifle sending it flying into a stup. I picked it up, blew it off and sent the bolt forward taking a round with it, I refrained from shooting the dog but the thought crossed my mind. I was confident enough in the scope build to take a shot but i took it to the range today just for grins. It was still right on. Then my buddy proceeded to put this three shot group through it at 100 meters  :yike:

I may or may not be able to shoot that well, I can neither confirm nor deny. lol.

I like having other guys handle and shoot the rifle so they stop hating on it. Their eyes always light up the first time they shoulder it.
