Ned, since your a new member, I don't know if you posted these as a joke or if those are actually your mounted trophy's.  Either way I don't think it was appropriate to post those.  What ever happened to a sportsman respecting the animals they harvest!

I have been a bird Taxidermist for a long time, and I can't imagine any serious Taxidermist mounting those birds up like that.  What a serious disrespect for the bird species that are portrayed in those photo's.  Just my humble opinion............John      Oh P.S. welcome to the site....

Hey, thanks for passing judgment on me without knowing me or my intentions.
You also have no idea who mounted these bird or why they mounted them.
You admit you dont know if it was in fun or serious then questioned my sportsmanship or how much respect I show the birds I harvest.

Ned, first off you post the pictures without any text to go along with them.  I would have thought that you would have posted your intentions when you posted the pictures.  What do you expect people to think when they see pictures like this, with no text to explain it.  Second, I wasn't passing judgment onto you.  I was simply stating that IN MY OPINION I don't think that birds such as these should be portrayed in this manner, rather Joking or not, it disrespects the bird.  Just look at the pictures.

There are 2 sides to every duck mount. I find it hilarious but I can also see how it is disrespectful to the animal. In terms of the animal "going to waste" NAHHHH. The enjoyment that I have gotten just from viewing the pictures is worth more than a duck dinner. Just remember that this is the waterfowl section, and we are all suppose to get along or else e-police like myself have to enforce the law.

Welcome Ned, you are my new forum buddy.

Please identify where those pics came from!!! Some one needs to be charged with a crime..

All joking aside I have seen both of those pics before. I find them funny, some may not. To each his own.
