Nice looking mount! I like the rich chocolaty coloration of the antlers those blacktails sport.

Not to hijack the thread, but a question.... is it typical for blacktail deer to have small to almost none existent brow tines? Honest question as obviously we don't have the species in Texas! All the pictures and few examples I've seen out West seem to have rather small tines.  :dunno:

Depends on your definition of small. Three inch eyeguards are pretty good for blacktails, though I have seen larger. But then again, lots of BTs have only one or none at all. Definately not large like whitetails.
