OMG!  how great!!!
please dont take this the wrong way... i couldnt help but but laugh n feel for ya!! when i read your 'no respect at all' i was really really hoping you were in the same boat as Woodman... "actual hoodlum trying to steal a trail camera caught on video" posted june 1, 2012 here in trail cameras.  YAY! i was correct  :)  i am lucky enough to have a good friend who shares the 'loot' from the trailcams with me and there is nothing that compares to seeing the camera 'moved' and the anticipation that follows til you get to (if ur really blessed) view the sd card and see 'who' moved it.  last year my buddy had a cam left alone but the feeder that it focused on was all but removed from the tree it was hung on. yup! the culprit was caught on cam...but, this was in the days before using video.  still a good bunch of pics, but, now we are getting spoiled by the videos with sound.
congrats to you on 'filming' the culprit and i wish you many more exciting days n pics to view.  thank you for sharing!!!
if you have the option, try doing videos just to get a taste.  :) :) :)
what an adrenaline rush!

I to have had to deal with a culprit like yours. Mine was not so nice. He bit through my cam. Get a box and it will save you from having to buy a new one.

Its funny all these people saying their trail cams getting stolen. I truly beleive 90% of the time cams go missing its from bears. Ive found two of my cams on the ground this yr by walking circles around the tree until I ran across it. Both times I've had pics of bears face right in the cam. Both times the cams were bitten through. One is broken b/c of water damage the other was still working last check.

Don't you guys secure your Tcams in some way?  At least make it difficult for a creature...2 or 4 legs ... to get off the tree.

Most cams come with just a strap.  Some guys buy lock boxes for them.
