Deer Sheds

I found a shed in a new hunting spot that I have been scoping out. I only found one of the two sheds. I'm just curious if the other shed will be close by or is it possible that it's not even in the same area at all. Thanks for any help.

Hit or miss on that.... They usually drop within 24 hours of each other.... All depends on how far it moved.....

Also keep in mind that someone may have already found the other side. Let's see a pic of that shed!

As said above, if it's a popular area, then it might be picked up. I've driven myself crazy looking for matches to sheds....so good luck

Like others said sometimes they are there and sometimes not. I once found a nice set nearly touching each other, I imagine he was bedded or just stood there while waiting for the other to drop. My experience is that more often than finding both I usually find just one.

Heres the pictures. First is the shed I found, nice three point black tail. The last picture is of a head found with a carcass in the same area where I found the shed. Both nice black tail in my eyes.
