Youth 101, 105, 111, 113

My son passed his hunter ed class yesterday with only two wrong answers.  Now I have to plan a hunt for him.  I am looking at starting out in the areas near Easton that I normally hunt for the first weekend to see if we get lucky on a buck.  If that doesn't work out I will take him over to the NE for a hunt that opens up the possibility of does.  He says he would be quite happy with a doe as long as he gets to go hunting.

He has always been a trooper following me on deer, bear and elk hunts with and without success.

The down side to the plan is that I don't know the NE corner.  I can see lots of Nat. Forest and state land and have looked over the Inland Paper company maps.  He has been willing to hike farther than most of my hunting buddies lately, but I would like to find somewhere we could try a few different spots.  I'm thinking it is best to break the day up into a few different hunts.  Head in for dawn, hunt a couple of hours, change locations and hike through a different area, find a different place and hunt out the evening.

Any suggestions on how to pull this off?  Or are there does behind every tree up there?  Shooting a deer on the first hunt would also be a good outcome.
We need a crusade for the children, a children's crusade.

Hope things go well. I've seen members in the past that had areas and/or their own property where a boy could get out and whack a doe. Shoot straight, be safe, and lets see a pic this fall of him with his trophy.
